To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

The RAM® Rotating X-Grip® Phone Holder with Ball - B Size (RAM-HOL-UN7BRU) features the popular spring-loaded 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device and pairs it with rotating hardware, allowing users to pivot their device between landscape and portrait orientations. Historically, to change orientations, users have had to loosen the knob of the double socket arm that secures their holder to the three-part mounting solution—this X-Grip® style gets rid of that hassle! Made of powder-coated, marine-grade aluminium, stainless steel components, and high-strength composite, the RAM® X-Grip® phone holder is compatible with a wide variety of RAM® double socket arms and mounting bases. This version of the RAM® X-Grip® fits phones ranging from 1.87" to 3.25" in width and keeps your device completely functional and accessible. No matter what double socket arm and mounting base you pair the RAM® X-Grip® with, RAM® ball-and-socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability to achieve the ideal viewing angle – while also extending the life of your phone by providing shock and vibration damping.
