To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The low-profile RAM® Power + Data Dock for Samsung Tab Active5 & Tab Active3 (RAM-HOL-SAM58CPT-1AU) offers a slim profile at 2.28" in depth with a metal reinforcement plate for a smaller footprint. Power capabilities from the dock are provided to the device through pogo pin technology and integrated USB-C cable, taking advantage of the Tab Active5 & 3's pogo pad docking contacts—simply dock the device for a seamless charging experience. Add a peripheral with the built-in USB Type-A cord and connect a keyboard, barcode scanner, printer, and more. This modular dock is compatible with the RAM® Skin™ or factory device skin along with most RAM® accessories including: RAM® Vent-Temp™, RAM® NFC Extender, and side accessory attachments such as a phone mount or barcode scanner. Included is a set of four nuts and bolts to connect the dock to any RAM® components containing the universal AMPS hole pattern. Also included is a cable clamp and zip ties for cable management.
